Delphi Earns Two General Motors Supplier of the Year Awards
TROY, Mich., April 29 -- Two Delphi facilities were honored as General Motors Suppliers of the Year for their superior performance in quality, service, technology and price in 2001. The awards were given during ceremonies Saturday, April 27 in Toronto.

The Delphi facilities that received the GM Supplier of the Year Award were:
For the fifth consecutive year, Delphi Packard Electric Systems, Shanghai, which supplies electrical/electronic distribution systems; and For the second consecutive year, Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems, Europe, which supplies powertrain cooling components, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and air conditioning compressors. The GM Supplier of the Year award began as a global program in 1992. Award-winners are selected by a global team of executives from purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and logistics. This year, General Motors honored 91 suppliers from 18 countries for their excellence throughout 2001.
