Pep Boys Helps Raise Money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association

    PHILADELPHIA--April 29, 2002--The Pep Boys- Manny, Moe & Jack , the nation's leading automotive aftermarket retail and service chain, announced that today, it will present local representatives of the Muscular Dystrophy Association with a check in the amount of $19,404.
    The company helped to generate this money through in-store customer and staff donations at local Pep Boys locations preceding St. Patrick's Day. The money raised will help those afflicted with neuromuscular-related diseases. Pep Boys will continue to accept donations until Labor Day weekend.
