Southern All Star Pro Trucks Visit HMS for the First Time
 
HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (April 12, 2002) - The Hardeeville Motor Speedway will
feature more great racing action on its 1/3 mile high-banked oval this
Saturday Night, April 27th as the Southern All star Pro Truck Series makes
its first visit to the Hardeeville Motor Speedway in the track's two year
history. Also racing on Saturday night will be Legends Cars, Mini Stocks,
Street Stocks and Xtreme Stock Cars. A special on-track autograph session
will be held with the truck racers on the track during intermission.  Fans
will have a chance to meet drivers from Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia,
South Carolina and Florida.

Gates open at 4:00 p.m., qualifying begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the
National Anthem at 7:00 p.m.  General admission ticket prices are $15.00
for adults; $10.00 for Juniors (ages 13-16), Seniors (55 and older) and
Military (with proper I.D.); $5.00 for children (ages 6-12); and children
under 5 are free.  The first 200 adults through the gate will receive a
cooler compliments of Budweiser and Pearlstine Distributors. 

On Saturday night, May 4th, the Hardeeville Motor Speedway will have Speedo
the Clown visit the track with his wild and crazy antics.  The O.C. Welch
Ford-Lincoln-Mercury Late Models will return along with the Legends Cars,
Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and Xtreme Stock Cars for the Beasley
Agency/Nationwide Insurance Family Night.

The Hardeeville Motor Speedway is located three miles south of I-95 (exit 5
in SC) on Highway 17 or just ten miles north of Savannah on Highway 17.
