WOODS III TO "DOUBLE" HIS FUN THIS WEEKEND

APRIL 27, 2002...CALIFORNIA TO IRWINDALE

Local NASCAR driver Tim Woods III is pulling double
duty this weekend, Saturday, April 27, 2002.  Woods
will be competing at California Speedway in a Winston
West race in the Pontiac Wide Track Grand Prix 200 at
9:30 am  Upon completions of the race, Woods will
travel across Southern California to Irwindale
Speedway where he will compete in the Jani-King Super
Late Model Race. This is Woods' second year in Winston
West and he is looking to make an impace in the series
for 2002.  Woods' cut his teeth a the Super Late Model
races in Irwindale, which he considers his home track.
 Woods has five main event wins in Irwindale as well
as several trophy dash victories.

"This will be an exciting day.  The Chino Hills Ford
team has given me two great race cars.  I feel that we
will be very competitive.  I want to give my hometown
fans a great show."
