Pioneer Names Tateki Ueda President of U.S. Manufacturing

LONG BEACH, Calif., April 25 -- Pioneer North America today named Tateki Ueda president of Pioneer Industrial Components, its U.S. manufacturing subsidiary for car audio products, based in Springboro, Ohio. Ueda will report to Kaz Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Pioneer North America.

Ueda has more than 30 years experience with Pioneer in Japan, Mexico and Thailand, most recently serving as managing director of Pioneer Manufacturing Thailand. He will lead the manufacturing facilities for automotive entertainment products, ensuring on time, quality manufacturing of audio products for a variety of automotive manufacturers and the aftermarket.
