Transpro Named As Advance Auto Parts' Radiator Supplier
NEW HAVEN, Conn.--April 23, 2002--Transpro, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket and OEM heat transfer products for automotive, truck, and industrial applications, has announced today that it has been named as the radiator supplier to Advance Auto Parts, Inc. .Beginning in June of this year, Advance Auto Parts will begin to sell Transpro's complete Ready-Rad(R) Radiator line throughout its network of 2,400 automotive retail stores. The Ready-Rad(R) line has application coverage for 95% of all passenger and light truck vehicles on the road today.

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. currently operates more than 2,400 stores in 38 states, primarily located in the eastern, mid-western and southeastern regions of the United States, and in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Late last year they acquired Discount Auto Parts in Florida which established them as the market leader in that state with over 450 stores there. In order to meet the demands of its customer base, Advance operates its innovative PDQ (Parts Delivered Quickly) system which allows customer access to over 250,000 automotive components within a 24-hour waiting period.
