Shippers Name Roadway Express Best LTL Carrier

    AKRON, Ohio--April 22, 2002--Roadway Express, Inc. has been honored as the "2002 LTL Nationwide Carrier of the Year" by the National Small Shipments Traffic Conference (NASSTRAC) held on April 3, 2002 in Naples, Fla.

    The voting members of NASSTRAC evaluate carrier performance in a variety of areas, including innovation, industry leadership, rating and billing, e-commerce, service performance, support of NASSTRAC's objectives, loss and damage prevention and technology.
