Hyundai Motor Company Chairman Announces $500,000 In Donations To Two Alabama Educational Charities

MONTGOMERY, Ala., April 16 -- Mong Koo Chung, Chairman of Hyundai Automotive Group, presented donations of $250,000 each to two Alabama charities today during the company's groundbreaking ceremony in Montgomery.

The first donation of $250,000 was presented to the Central Alabama Community Foundation and was earmarked to support public education in the Central Alabama area for grades kindergarten through 12.

The second donation of $250,000 was presented to the Alabama Partnership for Children Early Childhood Learning to support its valuable programs.

Chairman Chung announced the funds will help support teacher training, educational opportunities for students, community communications, principal training and other student educational opportunities.
