Huffaker RaceWerX / Simo update

Huffaker RaceWerX will not compete in Sunday's Trans-Am Series race 
in Long Beach, Calif.  The team withdrew the No. 7 Jaguar XKR minutes before 
the first practice session on Friday afternoon due to a lack of sponsorship.  
The car was to have been driven by 2000 series champion Brian Simo of 
Carlsbad, Calif. 

"We did everything we could to find funding up until the last minute," said 
team owner Joe Huffaker.  "We are continuing our search and we hope to be 
back in the series in the immediate future."

The next Trans-Am Series race is scheduled for May 19 at Mosport 
International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ont.
