CLARKE NAMED OFFICIAL PRODUCT SPONSOR OF AMA/FMF RACING NATIONAL ENDURO SERIES

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- AMA Sports, the amateur and pro-am competition division of
the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), announced today that the Clarke
Mfg. Co. has been named the "Official Gas Tank Supplier" of the AMA/FMF Racing
National Enduro Series.

The Mulino, Oregon-based company manufactures gas tanks and fuel cells for
off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles, for both recreation and
competition.

"Clarke is excited to be on-board as a sponsor of the AMA/FMF Racing National
Enduro Series," said Chris Roley, Promotions Manager for the company. "It's our
way of supporting the riders and racers who have supported us for the last 30
years."

"We're pleased to have Clarke step up as an official product sponsor of this
series," said Douglas Neubauer, Director of AMA Sports. "More and more companies
are realizing that there's a direct connection between sponsorship and customer
loyalty, and we commend Clarke for their commitment to the growth of enduro
racing in the U.S."

The first two rounds of the 2002 AMA/FMF Racing National Enduro Series were won
by four-time series champion Mike Lafferty of Millville, New Jersey. Pursuing
Lafferty toward the 2002 championship are Fred Hoess of Stanhope, New Jersey;
Mathew Stavish of Blaine, Minnesota; David Lykke of Bellingham, Washington; and
Randy Hawkins of Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

The eight-round 2002 AMA/FMF Racing National Enduro Series will resume on May 19
in Park Hills, Missouri.
