NEW HAVEN, Conn.--April 11, 2002--Transpro, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket and OEM heat transfer products for automotive, truck, and industrial applications, has announced today that CSK Auto, Inc. has named Transpro as primary supplier of its air conditioning product line.
Effective immediately, CSK will sell the complete Ready-Aire(R) air conditioning (A/C) product line throughout its retail network. This line has application coverage for virtually all makes and models of automobiles and light trucks on the road today and includes several products such as compressors, evaporators, accumulators, filter-driers, hose-assemblies and other A/C components.

We look forward to helping CSK grow their air conditioning business and believe this is a strategic step in the growth plans for our company. This new business acquisition demonstrates the effectiveness of our Ready-Aire(R) team in serving major customers' needs."
CSK currently operates over 1,130 stores in 19 states under the following trade names: Checker Auto Parts in the Southwest, Rocky Mountains, Northern Plains, and Hawaii; Schuck's Auto Supply in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska; and Kragen Auto Parts, primarily in California. As a specialty retailer, CSK primarily serves the do-it-yourself customer, with increasing emphasis on the wholesale (do-it-for-me) business.
