Aura Systems Signs OEM Agreement with Pierce Manufacturing

    EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--April 10, 2002--Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AURA) announced today that it entered into a letter agreement with Pierce Manufacturing, Inc., a wholly owned division of Oshkosh Truck Corporation .
    Pierce intends to install the AuraGen(R)5 kW system on an OEM basis for fire apparatus vehicles. The system will use Aura's Power Take Off ("PTO") interface. Pierce personnel will perform the installations at Pierce facilities.
    Pierce is one of North America's leading manufacturers of fire apparatus vehicles. Oshkosh Truck Corporation, a Fortune 1000 company, was recently selected by Forbes as one of the 400 Best Big Companies in America.
    Mr. Joshua Hauser, Aura's President and CEO said, "We are pleased to work with Pierce on an OEM basis. The AuraGen Power System is an ideal product for fire fighting vehicles.
