DaimlerChrysler says March Mercedes sales fell 5 pct
FRANKFURT, April 10 Reuters is reporting that automaker DaimlerChrysler AG (DCXGn.DE) said on Wednesday global sales at its Mercedes-Benz passenger car unit fell five percent in March to 102,800 units. That brought first-quarter sales at the unit to 264,100 cars compared with last year's level of 266,400, it said.
In Germany, Mercedes sold 83,000 vehicles in the first quarter, down two percent from the same period last year.
