Grand American Staff Reorganization

Grand American Staff Reorganization

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 9, 2002) -- Grand American Road Racing Association President Roger Edmondson announced staff changes today intended to improve the services that the organization provides for its customers.

Greg Otte, Director of Marketing, has been given an expanded role as Director of Marketing and Administration. Patrick Murphy, Special Projects Manager, has been named Director of Communications.

"Greg and Pat joined our staff a little over a year ago. Since then, I've learned they have valuable talents and experience that didn't necessarily fit into their original job assignments," Edmondson explained. "With the expanded roles I have given these two, Grand American should be able to do a better job at servicing our customers."

Otte and Murphy have been working jointly on a number of projects since they joined the Grand American staff in December of 2000. Edmondson sees that cooperation continuing in their new roles. "One of the pleasant surprises has been how well Greg and Pat can work together on a common project," Edmondson added. "Administration and communication go hand in hand and I'm confident that Greg and Pat will be able to develop and implement policies for Grand American that work together and improve the job we do for teams, drivers, sponsors and race tracks."
