James R. Bensman Chosen To Lead Eventra, Inc., A Supply Chain Management Software Company

    MILFORD, Conn.--April 8, 2002--Eventra, Inc., a leading provider of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) software based in Milford, CT, announced that James R. Bensman has joined the company as President and Chief Executive Officer.
    Mr. Bensman brings to Eventra a broad background in building software companies. Most notably, Mr. Bensman was the first President of SAP America, creating the cornerstone for SAP to become one of the world's largest software companies. Jim's background includes proven success in managing executive and sales teams, developing and executing product vision and strategy, as well as improving customer satisfaction.
    Most recently Jim was President and COO of Maconomy Corporation, an enterprise software company headquartered in Denmark. He led this company through a successful IPO. His previous experience includes being President and CEO at Geotrain Corporation, and prior to that CEO at Sales Technology, Inc. a division of Dun & Bradstreet. He was also the founder of Western Data Systems, Inc., an applications software company specializing in aerospace defense.
