Ford Motor Company Expands Windsor Engine Plant

HOUSTON--April 5, 2002--Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources Inc.; Houston, Texas). Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Mich.) is well into the expansion of its Windsor, Ontario engine plant on Seminole Street. Ground was broken May 15, 2000 for a 650,000 square foot building. The facility will be opening as a staged event, beginning Aug. 19, 2002 and finishing in February 2004.
