Supply-Chain World-North America Conference; Packed with Real World Experience
PITTSBURGH--April 3, 2002--The Supply-Chain Council (SCC) program for its 2002 Supply-Chain World-North America Conference & Exposition that will be held April 22-24 at the Hyatt Regency, New Orleans, Louisiana, will be Extending Collaboration to End-to-End Synchronization: Managing the Supply Chain Network for Competitive Advantage. The conference was designed to provide usable information and practical results that today's supply chain management practitioners and strategic planners can apply in moving to a new level of supply chain competitiveness. The vendor-neutral Council planning committee designed a new set of tracks aligned with major issues challenging today's supply chain leaders and packed them with experienced speakers.The first Keynote presentation, Courage is Contagious, will be delivered by John Kasich, host of "Heroes with John Kasich" on Fox News, and former U.S. Congressman and Chairman of the House Budget Committee. On Tuesday, Dr. John Langley, TLI Professor of Supply Chain Management, from the Georgia Institute of Technology, will deliver the keynote address, The Future of Supply Chain Management: Can We Get There From Here?
Wednesday's events include meetings for the Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Chemicals, and Retail & Consumer Products Special Industry Groups (SIGs).
