Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada reports increase in sales
BRAMALEA, ON, April 2 /CNW/ - Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada reports an increase in year-to-date sales of 101 per cent compared with the same period last year. Jaguar reported an increase of 85 per cent for the month of March with strong sales for the XJ sedans, showing an increase of 188 per cent and XK sports cars, showing an increase of 94 per cent. Land Rover reported 95 percent growth for March, compared with the same period last year, for a total of 152 vehicles sold. Land Rover sales year-to-date increased a 135 per cent."Increased sales this month show we are getting customers into the showroom and into the vehicles," said Vic Bernardini, president of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "With new products such as, the S-TYPE R and the all-new Range Rover on the horizon, we look forward to this continued growth."
The revised 2003 Jaguar S-TYPE range will go on sale this May in Canada. The third all-new Range Rover in 31 years will be available at Canadian Land Rover retailers in June.
Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America reported record first quarter sales for the organization totaling 25,421 vehicles sold, up 87 per cent.
