Subaru Announces Sales Results For March
CHERRY HILL, N.J., April 2 -- Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA), a pioneer of all-wheel drive crossover vehicles designed for the active lifestyle, announced today sales figures for March. Subaru recorded a total of 13,605 units for the month, a decrease of 6% from 2001 totals for the same period.
Subaru Impreza achieved a sales total of 3,780 units in March, an increase of 36% from last year. Subaru Legacy led the monthly total with 6,141 units posted, down 15%, while sales of Subaru Outback were 4,492 units, a decrease of 17% from March 2001. Subaru Forester posted a total of 3,684 units for the month, down 18% from last year.
