Hyundai Continues Record Sales Pace; March Sales Set Another New Record

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., April 2 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 31,805 vehicles for the month of March, setting another new sales record for the month. ``Hyundai sales were up nearly 15 percent over last March,'' said Robert Cosmai, vice-president of sales for Hyundai Motor America. ``This marks our 14th consecutive month of record-setting sales and we expect these strong sales to continue. Sales of our Santa Fe sport utility vehicle set a new all-time monthly sales record and sales of Hyundai's all-new Tiburon coupe, which has just started to arrive in dealer showrooms, will continue to grow as the supply increases,'' he added.

``In addition to our complete line of high-quality, high-value vehicles, another factor bringing customers into Hyundai showrooms is The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty,'' Cosmai said. ``Hyundai buyers are covered by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection,'' he added.
