Clarity And Trilogy Team Up

TROY, Mich., April 1 -- Clarity LLC, a high technology signal processing software company in Troy, today announced its new strategic partnership with Auburn Hills-based Trilogy Electronics. The two Michigan companies have teamed up to provide quality turnkey hardware and software solutions to automotive and consumer electronics customers, including a project to improve the voice integration system for the largest telematics provider in the world.

Clarity President and CEO Raymond Gunn said, ``It was important to select a manufacturing partner that understands the auto and consumer electronics industries and has high quality standards and industry recognized certifications. We help products listen,'' said Gunn. ``What's more, we listen to the voice of our customers. When they told us they needed a quicker time to market, we turned to Trilogy, which is continuously re-thinking and re- engineering the value-add equation to align cost-effective solutions to the ever-changing and increasingly demanding electronics market. With Trilogy we are successfully launching automotive OEM programs in both the European and North American markets.''

Trilogy Electronics President and Chief Executive Officer Terry Bishop said, ``Clarity's Clear Voice Capture (CVC(TM)) software makes it easier to communicate hands-free, particularly in a moving vehicle, despite traffic and other distracting noise. By utilizing our manufacturing and engineering resources, Clarity can concentrate their efforts on what makes them successful. We are excited about this partnership with Clarity and the high growth opportunity it presents.''

Terry Bishop of Trilogy added, ``It's an exciting time in Michigan right now. There is a convergence of the automotive and consumer electronics industries going on. This is an excellent opportunity for Trilogy and Clarity who are positioned well to take advantage of this exploding market.''
