FOR RELEASE: March 27, 2002Saturn Corporation Announces A New Retail Partner In The Sacramento Area
Detroit- Saturn Corporation announced it has reached an agreement with John L. Sullivan and the Sullivan Automotive Group to reopen the recently closed Saturn of Fulton Avenue facility in a new location. In addition, the Sullivan Automotive Group will build a new Saturn retail facility in the Roseville Auto Mall to replace Saturn of Roseville, expected to close in the spring of 2002.
"Saturn is pleased to welcome Mr. Sullivan into our family and we look forward to the opening of these two new facilities. Our ongoing commitment to the Sacramento market will be well served by John and his team as Saturn unveils four new products in the next twelve months, to complement our latest arrival, the VUE," said Jill Lajdziak, Saturn vice president of Sales, Service and Marketing.
Timing of the opening of these two new Saturn retail facilities has yet to be determined, but both are being pursued aggressively so as to minimize customer inconvenience. The third existing facility in Sacramento, Saturn of Elk Grove, is unaffected and remains open for business.
While planning and construction proceeds for the two new facilities, Saturn Corporation is developing a plan with the Sullivan Automotive Group to provide both warranty and non-warranty service work for current Saturn owners who are impacted by the closings of Saturn of Fulton Avenue and Saturn of Roseville. Registered Saturn owners can expect to receive a letter soon indicating where they can go for service work.
The Sullivan Automotive Group has a longstanding commitment to the Sacramento community and currently operates two dealerships in the Roseville Auto Mall, John L. Sullivan Chevrolet and Roseville Toyota. Both dealerships have been recognized for their outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
