USF Logistics Appoints Dennis Waliczek to Position of Vice President Information Technology

    OAKBROOK, Ill.--March 26, 2002--USF Logistics, a logistics business unit of USFreightways Corporation, announced today the appointment of Dennis Waliczek to the position of Vice President Information Technology. In this position Waliczek will be a key participant in the strategic planning process, and will have overall responsibility for conceptualizing, developing and deploying value-added IT solutions across the business unit's customer base.

    Waliczek comes to USF Logistics with over 20 years of IT experience in both manufacturing and 3PL industries. Before joining USF Logistics, he served as Vice President Supply Chain Solutions for Telxon Corp., Vice President Information Technology with DSC Logistics, and Director of Management Information Services for Sara Lee Corporation. Waliczek has a BA in Economics and is a member of CLM, WERC and the Society of Logistics Engineers.
