ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series releases 2002 schedule

TOLEDO OH (3-26-02) The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series, in its fourth
season of competition, has released its 2002 schedule to include 12
events in eight states.

The schedule, which includes a mix of races on both dirt and pavement,
kicks off at the quarter-mile Kentucky Speedway on May 10 and concludes
at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 5. The Las Vegas event is a
non-points race.

Tracks returning to the schedule include ARCA-sanctioned Toledo (OH) and
Flat Rock (MI) Speedways as well as Illiana Motor Speedway (IN), Dixie
Motor Speedway (MI), the quarter-mile clay LaSalle Speedway (IL) and
Lorain County Speedway (OH). The half-mile clay Tri-City Speedway in
Franklin, Pennsylvania returns to the tour after a two-year absence.

First-time ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck venues in 2002 include the
quarter-mile Ona Speedway (WV), the brand-new I-75 Speedway (KY) and the
brand-new lake Erie Speedway (PA).

Two-time champion Robbin Slaughter is expected to return to defend his
title as well as former champion Bill Withers who won the inaugural
crown in 1999.
