WEEKLY NORTH AMERICAN PRODUCTION REPORT - WEEK ENDING MARCH 16, 2002

DEARBORN, MI, March 21, 2002 - Ford Motor Company's North American vehicle production for the week ending March 16 is summarized below:

The following U.S. and Canadian assembly plants are working overtime this week: Dearborn (Ford Mustang), Kansas City (Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute), Kansas City (Ford F-Series), Lorain (Ford Econoline), Louisville (Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer), Norfolk (Ford F-Series), Ontario (Ford F-Series), and Wayne (Ford Focus). In addition, Saturday overtime is scheduled at Dearborn and Kansas City (Ford F-Series) on March 23.


Next week (March 25), all North American assembly plants will be operating except Cuautitlan, which produces the Ford Ikon and F-Series truck models for the Mexican domestic market. Production will resume on April 8.
