SEE IT IN PERSON
There is only one first, and this weekend fans in the Southern California area will not want to miss out on the chance to say they were there for the first-ever Grand American 400 on California Speedway's new road course. The challenging 2.81-mile, 21-turn course promises to provide plenty of racing excitement during the 400-mile race, and the new infield grandstands have been placed in the perfect spots to see the action up close.
Fans will also have the opportunity to meet the top sports car drivers from the United States and around the world on Saturday morning when the Rolex Sports Car Series holds an autograph session. The 2002 Rolex 24 At Daytona winners, as well as the 2001 Rolex Series driver champions will meet with fans at the Racing For Kids tent in the infield from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
