Moldflow Launches Moldflow Plastics Insight 3.0, Revision 2; Japanese Version of Revolutionary New Product Immediately Available

    WAYLAND, Mass.--March 20, 2002--Moldflow Corporation , the world leader in process-wide solutions for optimizing the design and manufacture of plastic products, today announced that its Moldflow Plastics Insight(TM) (MPI(TM)) version 3.0, Revision 2 will begin shipping today. The latest product release is available with a Japanese user interface -- a first for the MPI product line.
    MPI 3.0, launched in November 2001, provides advanced process simulation tools to predict and eliminate potential manufacturing problems and optimize part design, mold design and the injection molding process itself. In addition, MPI 3.0 addresses the broadest range of manufacturing issues and design geometry types associated with plastics molding processes.
