Peugeot Serves Owners and Enthusiasts With "My Peugeot"
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--March 20, 2002--BroadVision, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise self-service applications, today announced that Peugeot, the France-based automobile manufacturer, has relaunched its site, www.peugeot.fr, powered by BroadVision® enterprise self-service applications. Peugeot needed a way to easily update the content on the site and, more importantly, wanted to better serve its existing and potential customers by providing each user with information relevant to them. By using BroadVision's enterprise self-service applications, Peugeot can now provide informative and personalized information to Peugeot car owners and enthusiasts alike.
Peugeot.fr includes essential information about each vehicle, including price ranges, details regarding car models and features, and options for financing and insurance. To replace the pre-existing static site and provide personalized information for each user, each visitor to Peugeot.fr, is asked to register and give a profile of his or her interests and preferences. Each time the user returns to Peugeot.fr, the site features news and articles personalized for them according to the information they provided.
Owners of Peugeot vehicles can take advantage of even more advanced personalization features. Each Peugeot owner can access a personalized Web page specific to their automobile. Named ``My Peugeot Space,'' Peugeot owners are provided with a single site to find all information relating to their own vehicle including detailed maintenance plans, payment updates, and more. In addition, users can request information on other Peugeot models and features.
Peugeot.fr currently hosts more than 350,000 visitors per month.
