Ansoft's SIMPLORER Software Wins AEI Tech 2002 Award
PITTSBURGH--March 19, 2002--The editors of Automotive Engineering International (AEI) presented Ansoft Corporation with an AEI Tech 2002 Award at the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) World Congress, held in Detroit, Michigan, the week of March 4 through 8.AEI editors, who give the award annually to companies that feature top new products and technologies at the show, awarded Ansoft for its new release of SIMPLORER(R), a sophisticated multidomain simulation package for the design of electrical and electromechanical systems in automotive power electronics and industrial automation.
"The award reinforces the overwhelming response to our integrated design solutions for the automotive community," said Uwe Knorr, Ansoft's Product Marketing Director, SIMPLORER. "Hundreds of engineers came to see our products and were enthusiastic about the new possibilities in terms of model generation, ease of use, and interoperability. SIMPLORER's unique combination of powerful simulation algorithms and links to other design tools provides engineers with a great opportunity to streamline their design processes."
Based on a unique simulator coupling technology, SIMPLORER provides exceptional simulation speed, high accuracy, and numerical stability. Its intuitive graphical user interface allows a fast and easy model generation using three modeling languages: electrical circuits, block diagrams, and state machines.
