NineSigma Unveils Redesigned Web Site

CLEVELAND--March 18, 2002--NineSigma, the Web-based business that provides enabling software and services to the science and technology community, has introduced a redesigned Web site that features an updated look and improved navigation capabilities. The site also offers additional content, including a demonstration of NineSigma's new I:M collaboration software, and an expanded e-library of white papers and other useful information.
The extensively revamped site, at www.ninesigma.com, includes sample RFPs (requests for proposals) from NineSigma's M:X (Managed Exchange) which enables organizations to locate innovative solutions for their science and technology needs. M:X combines the efficiency of the Internet with the experience of doctoral-level program managers.
"When NineSigma's web site was introduced last year, we received compliments on its ease-of-use," says Bronwyn Jones, NineSigma's marketing manager. "This latest version offers useful features that will help clients and others visiting the site consider new strategies for sourcing innovation. The new site enhances the cutting-edge reputation that www.ninesigma.com <http://www.ninesigma.com> holds among web users and the entire science and technology community."
"A sampling of actual RFPs are posted on the NineSigma Web site. These RFPs illustrate some of the real challenges facing companies today," says NineSigma senior program manager Kevin Stark. He adds: "Most of the solicitations in the M:X custom marketplace are by invitation only which is a crucial difference that separates NineSigma from less-robust services to researchers and scientists."
Visitors to the www.ninesigma.com site will notice more enhancements in the future. "Our next step is to create an online RFP builder for clients to develop solicitations quickly and easily with the help of NineSigma program managers," says Jones.
