Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship Pre-Race Notes for Race Two from Sebring

Pre-Race Notes for Race 2 at Sebring

- No. 2 Jones broke a front sway bar at the start of Race One. It has been
repaired for Race Two.
- No. 33 Dyer suffered broken suspension a-arms after contact with No. 5
Imery in Race One. No. 5 suffered superficial damage. Both cars have been
repaired for Race Two.
- No. 13 Campbell did not start race, do to mechanical failure with car and
will not start Race Two.
- No. 85 Irving suffered an ignition problem during Race One, which has been
fixed for Race Two.
- No. 32 Aschenbach had an exhaust failure in Race One. It has been repaired
for Race Two.
- No. 34 Wilkins and No. 86 Brumbaugh made contact in Race One. No. 86
suffered front wing damage and No. 34 suffered diffuser damage. Both cars
have been repaired for Race Two.
- No. 6 McDonough had brake problems late in Race One, which have been
fixed.
- No. 45 Floyd had severe brake problems during Race One and have been
repaired for Race Two.
- No. 3 Sellers will attempt to become the third consecutive driver to win
both rounds of the doubleheader at Sebring.
- Of the previous three winners at Sebring, two have gone on to win the
Championship, Chris Simmons in 1992 and Dan Wheldon in 1999.
