Pennsylvania – lack access to enough food for an active healthy life.  

No one understands this problem better than Share Our Strength, one of the 
nation’s leading anti-hunger, 
anti-poverty charities.  The Canned Food Alliance (CFA) has partnered with Share
Our Strength’s Children’s Hour to create the “Adventures in the Kitchen Kid’s 
Cookbook,” featuring nutritious and convenient kid-friendly recipes.

Several adult and kid celebrities have joined the fight by donating recipes, 
including journalist and mother Deborah Norville, who will be demonstrating her 
contribution, Confetti Picnic Salad.  For each celebrity who contributed a 
recipe to the cookbook, the CFA made a donation in their name to Children’s 
Hour, which challenges consumers to donate one hour of their salary to charity.

Deborah Norville will give several kid-friendly cooking tips including:
Ø	Plan your journey – let you child help decide the menu.
Ø	Uncover your child’s unique kitchen talents.
Ø	Dare to enjoy yourself in the kitchen!
