PRAB Reports First Quarter Results

    KALAMAZOO, Mich.--March 13, 2002--PRAB, Inc. (OTC:PRAB) reports first quarter sales of $2,349,000 and a net profit of $5,000 for the period ended January 31, 2002. These results compare with sales of $3,684,000 and a net profit of $60,000 in the same period a year ago.
    The order backlog of $3,441,000 at the end of the first quarter ended January 31, 2002 compares with $2,995,000 at the end of the previous quarter ended October 31, 2001 and $2,687,000 at the end of the first quarter a year ago.
    PRAB, Inc., operating under two divisions, Prab Conveyors and Hapman Conveyors, designs and manufactures conveyors, metal scrap reclamation systems, and bulk material handling equipment and systems for a wide variety of industrial markets throughout the world.
