Kimball Electronics Group Names Vice President for European Operations

    JASPER, Ind.--March 13, 2002--Kimball Electronics Group, a subsidiary of Kimball International, Inc., announced today the appointment of Spiro Vamvakas as Vice President of European Operations. Kimball Electronics Group is a global contract electronics manufacturing services company that specializes in durable electronics.
    Vamvakas joined Kimball four years ago and has been instrumental in establishing Kimball's engineering and design services organization (KEDS) at locations around the world. His strategic planning and leadership has driven Kimball's Operational Excellence efforts in Europe, Asia and North America. Vamvakas' leadership in Europe will ensure focus on customers' needs, including strategic expansion of Kimball's manufacturing presence in Europe. Kimball Electronics Group currently has a manufacturing location in Poznan, Poland which is QS9000 certified and produces automotive electronics and telecommunication equipment.
