ZETEC CHAMPIONSHIP FINISHES PRE-EVENT TESTING

SEBRING, FLA. (March 12, 2002) — The 2002 Formula Ford 2000 Zetec
Championship finished pre-event testing today for the season-opening
doubleheader at Sebring International Raceway.

For the second consecutive day, testing was run under ideal hot and sunny
conditions. All 24 cars took part in optional testing on the 3.70-mile road
course. The Zetec Championship cars were given three half-hour sessions, two
in the morning and one in the afternoon.

While all times were unofficial, timing and scoring was present for all
three sessions. Fastest time during the day was set by Bryan Sellers, of
Centerville, Ohio, driving for Cape Motorsports, with a time of 2:05.092.
This time betters the best time set on Monday during testing and is for
seconds quicker than the current lap record, set with the Pinto engine
package.

The season-opening doubleheader commences Wednesday, March 13, 2002 with
practice at 8:40 a.m. and qualifying for Race One at 1:55 p.m.
