Media Rides On California's New Road Course
What: Media rides in two-seater Rolex Sports Car Series and Grand-Am Cup Street Stock Series race cars, including the Rolex 24 At Daytona-winning #66 The Racer's Group Porsche GT3 R, #33 Scuderia Ferrari of Washington Ferrari 360GT and #24 Perspective Motorsports Mosler MT300R from the Rolex Series, as well as the SpeedSource Porsche GT3 Cup and Porsche Boxster from the Grand-Am Cup Series.
Who: Anthony Lazzaro - Lazzaro will be the only driver to race in both the Grand American 400 and Indy Racing League 400 during the event weekend at California Speedway. He won the SportsRacing Prototype II class both the Rolex 24 At Daytona and the Nextel 250 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the #8 Rand Racing Nissan-powered Lola.
Kevin Buckler - Buckler started the 2002 Rolex Sports Car Series season with a GT class victory at the Rolex 24 At Daytona in his #66 The Racer's Group Porsche GT3 R. He currently leads the GT driver standings.
Darren Law - Law will race in both the Grand American 400 and the Grand-Am Cup 250 at California Speedway. The 2001 Rolex Sports Car Series GT Driver Champion will race the #07 Momentum Motorcars BMW-engined Picchio in the Rolex Series and the #01 G&W Motorsports Porsche GT3 Cup in the Grand-Am Cup race.
Joao Barbosa - Barbosa captured the first-ever professional victory in a Mosler MT900 R at the Nextel 250, piloting the #24 Perspective Motorsports Mosler to the GT class win. Barbosa is the chief test driver for Mosler, and has put the car on the GT pole at the last two runnings of the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Sylvain Tremblay - Tremblay was last year's Grand-Am Cup GS II driver champion, and will race the #70 SpeedSource Porsche GT3 Cup in the GS I class in the Grand-Am Cup race. He also took third place in the Rolex Sports Car Series GT class at this year's Rolex 24 At Daytona.
David Haskell - Haskell will race in two different cars during the Grand-Am Cup race. His time will be split between the #66 SpeedSource Porsche GT3 Cup and #67 SpeedSource Porsche Boxster, which compete in two different classes.

1:45 p.m. - Media Two-Seater Race Car Rides
Where: California Speedway Media Lounge, 9300 Cherry Ave., Fontana, CA
Why: To introduce the media to California Speedway's new 2.8-mile, 21 turn road course. Many of the rides will be given in actual race cars that will christen the new road course during the Grand American 400, Saturday, March 23, and Grand-Am Cup 250, Sunday, March 24.
