On Thursday, March 14th, Mott’s will make history! They are hosting the world’s
largest apple bobbing contest with more than 100 children dunking into a trough
of 2,000 red delicious apples in celebration of Mott’s 160th Anniversary of
applesauce!
This event also marks the launch of Mott’s partnership with Save the Children.
Through this partnership, Mott’s has donated more than $325,000 in cash and
products, which will enable Save the Children to enhance their
out-of-school-time program. Through the curriculum parents and children will
learn the fundamentals and essentials of eating properly and making informed
choices.
Mother was right, an apple a day does keep the doctor away – new research
suggest apple components may combat heart disease and cancer.
