FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MICA RACING TO RACE BOTH CLASSES IN ZETEC CHAMPIONSHIP

HOUSTON, TEXAS (March 5, 2002) - MICA Racing today announced their
intentions to contest both the Zetec and American Continental Championship
classes in the 2002 Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship.

Driving for the Houston based team will be Michael Floyd, of Houston, Texas
and Scott Jenkins, of Portland, Oregon. Floyd will contest the entire ACC
season, for cars with the Pinto engine package, while Jenkins will race in
the Zetec class.

Floyd began racing motorcycles at age 11. For six years he had great
success, winning numerous races. Following a break from racing to focus on
school and the family business, Floyd returned to the cockpit in 2000. After
learning car-racing basics at the Derek Daly Driving Academy, Jim Russell
Racing Drivers School and behind the wheel of a Porsche 951, he began
open-wheel racing. In his first year of F2000 competition, Floyd performed
well in SCCA Nationals and finished fourth in class in his first Zetec
Championship race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Jenkins, joins MICA Racing and the Zetec Championship having enjoyed success
at each level of racing he has done. After attending the Derek Daly Driving
Academy, Jenkins began his racing career in 1998. Following success in Skip
Barber Formula Dodge and the Jim Russell Graduate Runoffs, Jenkins captured
his first championship, the SCCA NorPac Division in Formula Mazda, in 2000.
Last year, Jenkins contested the STAR Mazda Series, winning three races in
the overall championship and capturing the Oval Championship with three wins
and three pole positions.

"We are very excited about the upcoming Zetec Championship season," said
MICA Racing owner James Floyd. "Last year we had the opportunity to do one
race and we were so impressed with the series we decided we wanted to do a
full season. With both Michael and Scott behind the wheel I'm looking
forward to a successful season."

"I'm really thankful for this opportunity," said Jenkins. "The Zetec
Championship is a great series with a lot of talent in it. I'm looking
forward to racing with MICA Racing and given the experiences I've gained
over the past few years I expect to challenge for the championship."

Formed in 2000, MICA Racing has raced various cars in several series. In the
upcoming year the team will focus on the Formula Ford 2000 Zetec
Championship, but will also contest a Porsche in GT2 competition, as well as
a Porsche 935 in historical sports car racing. In addition to racing, MICA
Racing is a leading distributor in competition products.

The 2002 Zetec Championship gets underway March 14-15, 2002, at Sebring
International Raceway with Rounds One and Two.
