BALTIMORE, March 5 Latitude360(TM), the eLearning and eBusiness integration division of RWD Technologies, Inc. today announced that Latitude360, in partnership with Toyota (GB) PLC, has successfully implemented an enterprise- wide Retail Asset Management System at Toyota GB. Using the system developed by Latitude360, Toyota GB has already begun to reap a return on their investment with significant gains in efficiency and a reduction in time to market.
This landmark, multi-year venture entailed integrating numerous legacy systems, as well as re-engineering and refining many business processes. The content management solution, which is based upon Documentum's 4i product suite, consolidated disparate business-critical databases containing model data, vehicle images and inventory, available accessories and dealership information. By eliminating data duplication and the need for manual updates, Toyota GB streamlined the sales process and increased customer satisfaction.
Now, Toyota GB delivers consistent and timely data to its employees, dealers and customers throughout the United Kingdom. Toyota GB can quickly access and distribute specific product, accessory and pricing information to business and consumer target systems such as Shop@Toyota -- used by dealers throughout the UK.
