Private Fleet Initiates Order With puraDYN Filter Technologies Inc.; Anticipated Purchase Approximately $900,000

    BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.--March 5, 2002--puraDYN Filter Technologies Inc. (AMEX: PFT), the global by-pass oil filtration system company, today announced that one of the largest private trucking fleets in the US has placed a substantial order for its puraDYN(R) By-Pass Oil Filtration System.
    The fleet has installed the puraDYN system on over 1400 pieces of equipment during the past year. Prior to the initial order, the fleet tested the system for a year to determine the cost and maintenance benefits. The company has already ordered 30 percent of the total anticipated amount for 2002. When the order is completed, the puraDYN system will be installed on an estimated additional 3000 pieces of equipment, which is only 10% of its total fleet. Additional units are expected to be installed each year hereafter.
