LAZ Parking Selects Kai Communication's Online Parking Management System to Power More Than 100 Parking Facilities Nationwide

    ATLANTA--March 5, 2002--Kai Communications, a managed service provider of Web-based business solutions for specific industries, today announced that LAZ Parking, a national parking company that specializes in the management, leasing, ownership, and development of high-level parking facilities, has selected Kai's Online Parking Management System to provide online parking management services for more than 100 nationwide parking facilities.

    LAZ Parking customers will have the opportunity to reserve a space and pay for parking online, set-up direct billing, review their account information in real-time, submit requests, complaints or damage and theft reports online, schedule a car wash and/or oil change online, and receive corporate newsletters with updates, rate adjustments and new policies via e-mail.
    Furthermore, garage and lot managers will experience increased bottom-line results with new capabilities such as instant notification, via e-mail, when a new customer registers online, the ability to track employee time and attendance online, collect real-time billing and updated customer information online, send reminders on overdue payments to customers via e-mail, receive notification when a customer reserves a parking space or schedules services including car washes and/or oil changes, reconcile invoices in real-time and address customer complaints or concerns via the Internet or PDA (e.g., Palm Pilot, text pager or cell phone). In addition, managers utilizing the built-in reporting tools, which capture data from the online management system, can easily submit reports electronically to the corporate office without having to re-key any information.
