The Arc and Jay Fogleman Form Partnership for 2002 Season
Representatives of The Arc Will Serve as Honorary Crew Member During Selected Events

Fayetteville, GA (March 4, 2002) - United Speed Alliance Racing member Jay Fogleman and The Arc of the United States have announced a partnership to bring members of The Arc to selected USAR Hooters ProCup Series events during the 2002 season. Members of The Arc will serve as honorary crewmembers for the Lucas Oil-sponsored team. Fogleman will drive the Lucas Oil #4 car in the Northern Division of the Hooters ProCup Series this season.

"We are very excited about this new partnership with The Arc, Lucas Oil and our race team," said Fogleman. "We hope we can give a member of The Arc a fun time at the track and use the resources of the national television exposure with USAR and Lucas Oil to raise awareness of this organization to everyone."

Lucas Oil Products is an official sponsor of the USAR Hooters ProCup Series and has sponsored USAR Southern Division driver Steve Christian since 1999. This will be the first season Lucas Oil has sponsored Fogleman.

"We are very pleased that Jay and his team have elected to include The Arc in their at-track promotions," said Jennifer Blanford of Lucas Oil. "Lucas Oil has a strong commitment to the community as does JFco Motorsports."

Formed in 1950, The Arc is the nation's largest volunteer-based organization devoted solely to the issues pertaining to mental retardation and related developmental disabilities. The organization is devoted to promoting and improving supports and services for people with mental retardation and their families.

"The Arc is pleased and honored to have this opportunity," said David Donahue of The Arc. "We will be honoring all of those served by The Arc thru our honorary crew members at each venue, while being afforded the opportunity of telling a 'who we are, what we do story' at each of the track's Jay will be competing on during the season."

The first scheduled race for the honorary pit crewmember will be at Jennerstown Speedway on Saturday, April 13.
