Centurion Unveils New Quad-Band Mercury Antenna

    LINCOLN, Ne.--March 4, 2002--Centurion Wireless Technologies, Inc., the leading manufacturer of antennas and power products for wireless communications, today unveiled the Quad-Band Mercury Antenna for automotive communications systems.
    The antenna enhances Centurion's current line of low profile, low cost telematics solutions, combining GPS, data communications and two cellular capabilities onto one antenna to create a practically invisible, versatile, high-performance option for automotive applications.

    The Quad-Band Mercury Antenna combines two frequency bands for cellular and PCS phones at 824-986 MHz and 1850-1990 MHz, a GPS antenna at 1575 MHz and data communications capability. Service providers will benefit from a 3 dBi cellular gain, enhanced performance and extended service availability.
    Centurion's telematics antennas preserve the aesthetic integrity of the automobile's design. Unlike other telematics antennas, Centurion's low profile, high-performance telematics antennas do not detract from the vehicle's design. The Quad-Band Mercury Antenna is covered in a compact, durable and ruggedized injection-mold housing.
