MatrixOne Vice President of Automotive Industry to Chair Pan-European Automotive Forum on March 11 in Amsterdam

    WESTFORD, Mass.--March 4, 2002--

    Stephen Dunn, vice president of the automotive industry for MatrixOne, Inc. , the leading provider of product collaboration solutions for the value chain, will be the Chairperson for day one of the European Networking Group's Pan European Automotive Forum, which is focusing on the topic of "Accelerating Design and Product Collaboration." As the day one Chair, Dunn will provide opening and closing remarks on the first day of this event, which takes place on March 11 and 12 at the Grand Hotel in Amsterdam. The Forum will discuss strategies for proactive partnerships between automotive OEMs and suppliers to cut costs, speed up time-to-market, and develop innovative products in the automotive industry.
    In addition to his responsibilities as Chair, Dunn will also speak at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11 in a presentation entitled, "The Automotive Company that Leverages their Value Chain the Best, Wins!" In his session, Dunn will present case studies from automotive OEMs and suppliers who are leveraging product collaboration with their value chain, and he will discuss how the high-tech outsourcing model for their value chains can improve the return on assets for the automotive industry. Dunn will also discuss the role of Covisint for providing a cost effective way for OEMs and suppliers to more effectively manage the changing roles that the automotive value chain plays.
    In addition, Dr. Norbert Reimann, general manager for MatrixOne's Central European operation, will be moderating the 2:00 p.m. session on Tuesday, March 12 entitled, "Exploring the Benefits of the OEM/Supplier Partnership." Dana Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of components, modules, and complete systems to global vehicle manufacturers and their related aftermarkets, will be presenting during the session Dr. Reimann is moderating.
