R. L. Polk & Co. Establishes Board to Focus on Aftermarket Strategy
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 27 -- R. L. Polk & Co. announced today that it has formed an aftermarket advisory board. This unique board is charged with advising Polk on its strategic position in the automotive aftermarket sector, reviewing the company's aftermarket product offerings, providing input on marketing communication strategies for the aftermarket sector, and supporting Polk's aftermarket sales team in growing customer relationships. The announcement was made by Stephen Polk, chairman, president and CEO of Polk. Polk's Aftermarket Advisory Board consists of individuals who have a wealth of experience in both the business world and the aftermarket sector. The board includes: Al Gaspar, president & CEO of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA); Paul Baffico, president, Invisible Intellect and former president of Sears Automotive Group; Gordon Ulsh, president & CEO of FleetPride and former president & COO of Federal-Mogul Corp; and Tom Swoboda, president, Swoboda & Associates and former vice president for Kmart Automotive.

The Aftermarket Advisory Board will meet with Polk executives on a regular basis in order to accomplish the established objectives.
