Media Credentials for the Grand Prix of the Americas in Miami

Hello, All:

Please see the following document from Raceworks, LLC, organizers of the April 5-7 Grand Prix of the Americas in Miami, regarding media credentials for the event. The Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Series will kick off its 2002 season on Saturday, April 6, as part of the Grand Prix weekend.

The use of public transportation in Miami is STRONGLY recommended, as parking in the area of the racing circuit will be limited. The track, and many restaurants, will be easily accessible on foot from Downtown area hotels.

The inaugural Grand Prix of the Americas will take place on the streets of 
downtown Miami April 5-7, 2002.

Media credentials will be issued only to recognized newspapers, news 
services, racing publications, television and radio networks and local 
television stations and must be requested by the editor, sports editor or 
sports director on official letterhead.

Working media credentials will not be issued for employees in marketing, 
promotion, sales, etc.  Please do not request working media privileges for 
company executives, including management personnel and officers.

Due to insurance requirements, photo credentials are very limited and are 
available only to qualified media. No freelance photographers will be issued 
a credential unless a letter of assignment from a member of the recognized 
media is provided.

All requests must be made in writing and received no later than March 18, 
2002.  Please send requests to:
