Dura Automotive Announces Changes to Its Board of Directors

    ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--Feb. 20, 2002--Dura Automotive Systems, Inc. , announced today that William L. Orscheln, president, Orscheln Management Co. and John C. Jorgensen, senior vice president, Orscheln Management Co., have resigned from Dura's Board of Directors in order to focus on their other businesses. Mr. Orscheln has been a board member since the acquisition of the brake and cable business of Alkin Co., in August of 1994. Mr. Jorgensen has been a board member since May of 1998. At this time, the company has not made a decision whether to fill these vacant board seats.
