Myers Industries Declares Quarterly Dividend and Announces Annual Meeting Date

    AKRON, Ohio--Feb. 19, 2002--The Board of Directors of Myers Industries, Inc. today declared a regular $.06 per share dividend. The dividend will be paid April 1, 2002, to shareholders of record as of March 8, 2002.
    The Board also announced the Company's annual meeting will be held Thursday, April 25, 2002, at 9 a.m. Eastern at the Louis S. Myers Training Center, located at 1554 S. Main Street in Akron, Ohio. The date of record was set as March 8, 2002.
