Fujitsu to distribute Korean movies via broadband

Friday, February 15, 2002 at 09:30 JST TOKYO — AlphaOmega Soft Corp, an affiliate of computer giant Fujitsu Ltd, said Thursday it began the same day distributing South Korean movie content via the broadband line to personal computer users by teaming up with Nifty Corp, a Fujitsu subsidiary, and iCONMedia Inc of South Korea.

The firms designated a one-month period from Thursday as a trial period during which they will distribute three popular South Korean movies for free to subscribers of eAccess Ltd's broadband telecom service, they said. (Kyodo News)
