NAMARS PR: Winternationals Field Takes Shape!...

VALVOLINE CUP TO LAUNCH AT WINTERNATIONALS

Racefan.com announced yesterday that Valvoline will launch 2002 season trackside activities for the Valvoline Cup program at the NAMARS Florida Winternationals at Orlando Speedworld February 19th through the 23rd.  Virtually every driver from every form of motorsports competing in every series at every track in the country will be able to participate in the Valvoline sponsored national points championship awarded to drivers in over twenty classes.  NAMARS is proud to have Valvoline choose the 2002 Winternationals to launch this important 'grass roots' racing program.



PIERCE FIRST TO COMMIT

Sam Pierce Chevrolet announced today, a one hundred percent commitment to NAMARS and pursuit of the 2002 NAMARS Championship Midget Car Series points chase with driver Aaron Pierce. Pierce is the first midget car team to commit to NAMARS' new participation program announced last week, designed to reward committed teams with high NAMARS participation with year end bonuses, and streamline the event entry process - effectively eliminating both entry fees and event entry requirements.
